Our most recent September "Omakase" Series, featured new wines from La Coume Wines.  

The wine will be served with various Japanese dishes and desserts.  Participants were able to enjoy various wine pairings while learning about wine regions and La Coume wines.

Sake and Shochu Tasting Seminar

For August's "Omakase" Series, we enjoyed tasting a variety of Kitaya shochus and sakes.  Our sake tastings were be accompanied with various otsumami from our restaurant. Participants learned about the varieties of shochu and sake as well as what types of dishes paired best with each.

For this event, participants tasted a variety of Takara Shuzo sakes.  Their sakes have earned widespread popularity as a full, refreshingly dry flavor that pairs perfectly with authentic Japanese dishes. Our sake tastings were accompanied with various otsumami from our restaurant.

For our June "Omakase" Series, participants enjoyed a selection of La Coume Wines. La Coume Wines focuses on distributing the highest quality wines from various wine regions around the world. The wine were served with various Japanese dishes and desserts. Participants learned about various wine regions around the world while sipping on some of the best wines La Coume had to offer.

Shochu Tasting Seminar

For our May "Omakase" Series, we enjoyed tasting a selection of Kitaya Shochu, which had recently won first place in the Japanese Sake Category at the 2013 International Wine Challenge. The shochu was served with various Japanese otsumami, small Japanese dishes that customarily accompany alcoholic beverages. Participants enjoyed the refreshing mouthfeel of Kitaya shochu while learning about the award winning beverage.
